Our Story

Two Brothers. One Standard. Built for the Brave.

Brass & Bunker Co. was born from two Montana-raised brothers—Lance and Taylor Dollarhide—who took very different paths, but never lost sight of the values they were raised on: honor, discipline, integrity, and hard work that doesn’t punch a clock.

At 18, Lance traded boyhood for battlefields. He became a U.S. Army infantryman, serving two deployments with quiet precision and unwavering grit. When the uniform came off, the mission didn’t. He ran toward sirens—first as a paramedic for a decade, then as a police officer, and finally as a firefighter for the Billings Fire Department. Service is in his blood. Protecting others is second nature.

Taylor took a different route—one driven by design, but grounded in the same discipline. He left Montana at 19 to study graphic and web design. By 23, he was teaching college courses in design and drawing for video game art. For two decades, Taylor led creative teams in tech, healthcare, freight, fintech, and private equity—designing everything from streaming apps like STARZ and Sling TV, to kids’ platforms like Sensical by Common Sense Media. He’s helped launch startups from napkin sketch to fully-funded, scaling product teams through Seed, Series A, B, and C rounds. He’s also given back, teaching high school design at Valor Christian, one of Colorado’s top college prep schools.
